  • It's quiet because 10 or even 20 watts is not enough power to spin the blade fast enough to make sound!

  • @nrgsaver A crappy fan 10 watts OR 20 watts makes a lot of noise..these fans are designed and made to be whisper quite. The video is to show you how quite they are, because most electric fans that only pull 800 cfms, you can here it running from the front yard..and this fan is a 1250 cfm fan. The video was taken from like 4-5 feet away. Thanks for listening..or not listening. lol

  • Very quiet, but that's not surprising seeing as there's no sound on the video! Even a whisper quiet fan would produce some noise from the motor and the blades slicing through the air.

  • @ForViewingOnly The volume is up dork.

  • LOL. I sure did.

  • @andrewjetmitchell 4 or 5 feet away?? That thing looks like monster. Also with not a sound at all makes it seem suspect. i find it hard to believe that a fan moving 1250 cfm and that size isnt making a peep. Should D/L the video and check the audio...

  • last night i put a fan just a house fan up in my attic it a lot cooler in y house now im going bue a few more fan for up there

  • Come on you incurable bunch of septics ...oops skeptics......haven't you heard of poetic licence? If you can't hear it (you hear with your {h}ear my primary school teacher once told me) its because it isn't within your hearing frequency range and if it can move 1250 cubic feet per minute on solar power , the solar panels will still have cost much less than a second hand BMW.Did he mention the cost? Give the guy a break f\ellas!

  • This fan moves 1250cfm of air on solar power? Does it have a battery or is it running directly from the panel? I'm thinking about gettong a couple for my greenhouse.

  • The shutters are not open either! NO air flow!

  • @andrewjetmitchell Sorry, but if that's the case then the blades can't be spinning fast enough to move a decent amount of air. I'll probably get even more abuse now.
