  • q for all: when your doing this tapping for a problem, do you actually have to do it whilst thinking about the problem WHILE tapping? if so then do you have to think of the problem going away?! pls someone explain thx.

  • @2010Barbon We tap while we think of the negative. It's not like positive thinking because we are TAPPING while we think of the negative - and that's what loosens it up so other thoughts can come in. Essentially you want to find out what the negative feeling is and when is the FIRST time you can remember feeling like that - then you do the Movie Technique on that event. You can search for that free You Tube Video - EFT Movie Technique Karin

  • let's see tapping make her loose 20 lbs.

  • It CAN help her loose 20 lbs. It can also help you be a kinder more thoughtful person.

  • How does one become an eft when everyone knows all the points because there free online. What else is there to really tune in?

  • Yes, just about anyone can tap, but it's like a sport, can everyone be in the Olympics? You can find life coaches and doctors and etc all over - but some are ok, some are good and some are great. There are so many great advanced concepts in EFT and MTT, it takes training and studying to learn all the nuances. But the bottom line is that you can start tapping and helping yourself, just with the free info online - how great is that?!

  • Great video. Thanks so much for posting. This subject is really interesting.

  • serious question. does this work on crack cravings?

  • добре би било тези прекрасни методи да са преведени на български не всички знаят англисики .трябва да се пополяризира това е нещо много добро

  • @ratiocinativeness She probably isn't- but she's also probably a unique case of stubborn. This is an interesting choice of "complimentary" therapy for those undergoing psychological evaluation and treatment. Like alot of alternative medicine- it can't hurt, but it probably won't do anything as a stand alone treatment. Thanks for your input!

  • @SkanRashke I agree- it's not the best for helping you develop as a person WHEN you compare it to psychotherapy. It doesn't challenge and change the core thoughts that you have that are self-defeating, it just stuffs more positive thoughts inside you... and as you stuff positive thoughts in, the negative thoughts still remain. And in this way, it's more likely that problems will come back later until you get to the core cause. Maybe the agorophobe isn't doing EFT right... idk

  • @ratiocinativeness ..she can't even go upstairs. So for a placebo technique, sure, I'm sure it makes you feel better, but it doesn't actually help you develop as a human being, which is what actual liscenced therapists are there to do. This is more of a "Feel good about yourself" way to waste your money, because I've never seen it help anyone overcome ANYTHING. As with all placebos, I'm sure someone somewhere overcame something with the aid of EFT, but that doesn't make it a useful tool.

  • @ratiocinativeness Well unfortunately, the only evidence that EFT works is anecdotal- there's no science behind this to prove it works. So my trying to disprove something that isn't proven to work would be a waste of time, as there's no evidence to this period. As for anecdotal experience, I live with an agorophobe- who has been housebound for 20+ years. She's been using EFT for that long, and has been saying it helps her make "Great leaps and bounds of progress".. but she never leaves the house

  • Just like anyone else, your entitled to your opinion. But when you voice it and try to back it up on the internet where other people can see and comment, you make yourself open to criticism. All I have to say-- your comparison of tapping to having sex with clowns is both a straw man and a red herring objection. And to be honest, it makes your argument against tapping look pretty pathetic... and God forbid that anyone actually believes this objection of yours.
