ive tried doing this before and gave up i find stiff leg and leg curls(no full extension contraction range) work for me

I just don't feel like explaining... basically sldl involve rounding you back, while in rdl you keep the bar close to your shin.
Anyway, just do the RDL... it's better IMO.

@Athrun000 I agree with you 100. I feel the same way. BUT i do have to change my routine up every now and then and shock my body.

I'd be extremely careful with this exercise. Even if you have good form it's still a risky one for pulling a muscle in your lower back.

@CdotDixon Yes sir you are are right. This exercise can go wrong very quickly. Definitely an advance movement here. I just had to post this video though. I see it done wrong SOO much at my gym and now i can rest easy knowing i tried to help.
