You will never mistake Jo'shua Odine for anyone else. The man has a sound all his own, a 100% original melting pot of influences. He's one of the few you can hear just once and say, " Yeah, he's pro. "
His laid-back, Bob Marley-meets-A Tribe Called Quest-meets-The Beatles sound will have you mellowed out on the first chord. With nothing but a guitar and a voice, he manages to create an incredibly deep soundscape. The rhythm drives the songs. He uses his guitar as a kick drum to give it a hiphop-esque beat. In between he splashes in beautiful chord work, then tops it off with the chillest vocal delivery.

@Daazbee My guess is that you're one of those bitter people. Either you're an artist who sees an artist such as this, and it makes you question your own ability, right? Or you're a person who would love to be on MTV yourself, and you fear that people like Joshua will be there first. This makes you FREAK out in the strangest of ways. Every artist in the world wants to be on MTV as it is a milestone in one's career. You're jealous, bitter, and insecure. Keep negative comments to yourself.
