At 9:30 in the morning of Feb. 6, during SNOWMAGEDDON '10, I walked around the streets of Washington, D.C. with a Flip-cam, looking for a supermarket and recording what I saw. Exciting! Or at least pretty, in a shaky-cam kind of way.

  • Someone needs to invest in a helmet-cam.

  • Like maybe an Olerud-cam?

  • An umbrella in a snowstorm? lol.. you guys really are amateurs at this stuff aren't you?

  • Huh? The umbrella prevented horizontal ice-snow from smacking into my cold face.

  • thanks for the walk, what happened w/the cop?

  • Nothing interesting. He stopped, and waved me across the street. I said "hi."

  • I love your video....this brings back major memories

  • "There's not a frozen pizza left in the District of Columbia."

  • haha I love the east coast! ya its a lot of snow but they freak out there! You get that in Minnesota and not much shuts down. And btw people out there always pull out their windshield wipers and thats strange and pointless. haha:) But i love the video! very cool! wish we would have had a winter like that last year. Love from everyone here in Minnesota! God bless:)

  • the east coast shut down this past winter.. maryland, jersey. deleware, virginia. dc.... everywhere. i loved it!

  • @janetlperkins yup we got bad. Didn't go to work all week long.

  • Snowmaggden 2010!!!! Mid Atlantic. I survived (thus far) Baltimore, Maryland..... 6 feet 7 inches.

  • south jersey had more snow than areas like buffalo, NY.

24 + 18 = 42 inches + the blizzard last night.... I guess the accumulation will hit 50 in the last week.

  • In Maryland we got hit worse than that. I've not been to work all week! Shoveled snow for 4 days straight.
