I really like these old shows.

@laxguy22655 'communism in a non modern worldview would be...' - your words.
Where did I say anything about an ancient worldview?
I simply stated that Stalinist communism is not viewed, by me, as far left. 'The two main sub-types are the so called "radical left", for their desire for fundamental change to the capitalist system while accepting of democracy, and the "extreme left" who are more hostile to liberal democracy and denounce any compromise with capitalism' - wikipedia

@57worldwide Communism is far left the hint is in the name Commune as in the whole of the community equal status and say and for the good of the community, how is this an ancient world view? I simply stated that today's understanding of communism is largely based on stalinistic communism.

@laxguy22655 ? Where did I state anything about an ancient worldview?
I gave a quote which was meant to imply that communism is not necessarily the same as being far left. Being, egalitarian is not a restriction of rights or social inequality as we see them today, a concern for those in society who are disadvantaged relatively to others; Stalinist communism created social and economic inequality, to the point where farmers were dying of starvation.
Capitalism cannot be far left.

@57worldwide Communism in a non modern view would more then likely be akin to the plains Native American's ass or any tribal society.
-
@laxguy22655 You realise some forms of communism are totalitarian, and the far left is egalitarianism?
'The exact definition of communism varies, and it is often mistakenly, in general political discourse, used interchangeably with socialism...the economic system of the Soviet Union which was described as "state capitalist" by non-Leninist socialists and later by communists who increasingly opposed the post-Stalin era Soviet model...and even at one point by Vladimir Lenin himself.'

In the marketplace of ideas Atheism wins because it doesn't crush itself with contridictory evidence from nature or the contradictions from opposing dogma.
The absence of belief in a diety is also inherently non-divisive and allows for a philosophy that is inclusive.
Stop fearing the unknown, and enjoy your life in a way that doesn't actively interfere with other's pursuit of their enjoyment.
What more does one need?

@badtrunk456 Agreed. Good post. But what would those other dissimilarities be? I understand they were not anarchists. We are a Republic, with Constitutional limitations placed upon structure and function of the government.
@WOWJBEOWULF
Um....There are no "atheist lessons" atheism is merely the statement "I don't believe a god exists"
Also another point, Nazi's were primarily roman catholic as was Hitler, but even if we assumed they were all atheist despite their uniforms bearing the insignias "gott mit uns" or god with us, not believing a god exists is no more inspiration to promote genocide than not believing unicorns exist is.

@WOWJBEOWULF I'm not a Nazi. I'm actually very left-wing.
But that's just another random insult which you don't properly understand the definition of, in the same way that you accuse lesbians of sodomy. LOL!
