@9b8 this is true.

@bobbywayne310 You are kind of overlooking the point about the whole "turn key race car" concept. The point is, if you are tired of making technical mistakes and doing all the R&D for 'what works' for a given platform, then a turn key setup goes a long way. They do the technical work; you drive it. But certainly, many still enjoy the journey of the DIY grass roots racing and old school hot rodding culture. I'm kind of that camp, too. But no mistake, there is a lot more to it than buying parts.

Sure sounds good. But does it blend? Joking. I must say, for a large retro-looking coupe, Dodge nailed it with this one. That comes respectfully from a Mustang fan. (GM will always be last in my heart; there is just something archaic and half-assed about their culture that disagrees with me. I have a feeling I am not alone in this hard-to-articulate observation. Sorry, GM.)

@MIA7Xthies well idk where u read that at but I got my info right off of mopar's web site
-
@bobbywayne310 i read that with an engine it is 84K, putting it ahead of the Cobra in price. But yes, without the engine it's cheaper.
-
@MIA7Xthies no the cobra jet is like 70k the drag pak challenger is some where in the 30k range and yes i know that is w/o a motor but than u can order a crate motor from mopar for 10k-15k or build ur own and still be cheaper than the cobra jet
-
@bobbywayne310 the Challenger is just as expensive
-
well i dnt like ford so i dnt keep up with them but i looked the cobra jet up and that car is way to much money
-
@bobbywayne310 Where the fuck have you been for the passed 2 years? Ford was first to do this.
2010 Cobra Jet announced Nov 3, 2009 -> watch?v=K76SBK3Ewgw

Pretty neat being as Mopar produced 50 race ready '68 Hemi cudas that ran 9.8 in the 1/4 mile off the floor. Still unbeated today. 44 years and standing. They still have it. And this is coming from a G.M guy.
