Referencia biblica: Salmos 84:5-7

There is a way that leads to life
The few that find it never die
Past mountain peaks graced white with snow
The way grows brighter as it goes

(Coro)
There is a road inside of you
Inside of me there is one too
No stumbling pilgrim in the dark
The road to Zion's in your heart
The road to Zion's in your heart

The river runs beside the road
Its waters living as they flow
In liquid voice the water calls
On thirsty knees the pilgrim falls

Sometimes a shadow dark and cold
Lays like a mist across the road
But be encouraged by the sight
Where there's a shadow, there's a light

Sometimes it's good to look back down
We've come so far - we've gained such ground
But joy is not in where we've been
Joy is who's waiting at the end

"Camino A Sion"

  • Psa 48:2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

  • Apologies to all the 6 Pence fans, just not my thing. Praise the lord that they're covering such a great song, but, at the risk of making myself sound dated, I prefer the style of the original, and other rock and metal from that era. Just not into any modern rock/pop/metal, not old school, just old!

  • @smn3675 share this version with a teen gal you know (or older even) then say...hey wanna hear the original, it's more folksy...nah! tell them Petra is the Word ROCK!

you seemed so down. I just wanted to encourage you, I just shared this with a 46 yrold gal I call sister.

    Dug digged.

    CHARITY is the old love

    cherish IS THE NEW LOVE

  • @OXAXCO Meh. This version is lacking compared to the original. To quote a friends album title, I'm not old school, I'm just old. The 80's version is so much better than this... whatever you want to call this. Praise the Lord it's still to praise Jesus, doesn't mean I have to dig the music. blah..gonna go listen to the original. and then some Saint, Bloodgood, Rez, and other music from back when people knew how to rock. No offense. Not my thing.

  • The other 2 songs from this album I listened to absolutely sucked but this remake ain't half bad. Still prefer the original

  • sixpence is one of the best bands ever... they remake songs so artistically. this song is one example. another one is there version of "it came upon a midnight clear." it's so good and nostalgic, it was used in grey's anatomy's christmas episode in season 2.

  • I love Petra and Sixpence for a long, long time. When I bought this album, this one showed iself to be the most impressive.

Sixpence captured the essence of the message and make an already wonderful song into something epic.

  • this is so pretty!

  • Thank you for posting this... i used to have the cassette tape of this compilation and lost it. This is the one song I loved from that tape. Once again, thank you.

  • love this song, thank you for posting it
