In general Jews are less nationalistic and more ethnically conscious than other whites. Do Jews flock together much tighter than other whites because they've been targeted in the past or have they been targeted because of said solidarity? Americans of Italian and Irish descent (who came during or perhaps a little before the great Jewish migration from Eastern Europe in the early 20th century) do not have the kind of loyalty to their ancestral home like Jews do with Israel.
