Young Deaf students face problems when interpreters don't turn up to classrooms. We investigate the possibility of including Deaf Awareness and British Sign Language in teaching courses.

  • Very interesting. One of the comments was that it would take a year to learn level 1 BSL and the suggestion was that this wouldn't be practical. It's a pity there was no mention of Cued Speech which would take about five days to learn the basics.

  • loved it you did really good guys! I'm learnign BSL level 2 now and also training to work with children hopefully as a play therapist. I definitely think learning sign is the best thing I've done and others should do the same! x
