Agreed I felt really moved by your humble truth dutch guy :) Keep on being you <3

@rjones6801 You got me all wrong friend. I agree with what you have said. I agree with the ideas. What I was saying is that in many cases I don't agree with how many present their atheism.

@HalloFusilli What about the belief that you're not born into sin? That you shouldn't have to spend your whole life asking for forgiveness and acceptance, but rather live the life you want? These are my beliefs as an atheist. I don't find them condescending. As long as you live under God's thumb, you're never truly free - and being truly free is something everyone should experience. There's only shame in living for God. You only live once. Make it count.

@HalloFusilli Instead of compassionate understanding. Understanding that washes away the dirt of hatred.
-
@HalloFusilli It's important that you can distinguish the two and appreciate the result separate from the man. That's enough to satisfy me.
-
@rjones6801 demeanor. A demeanor too characteristic of say an atheist who claims to want to better man yet espouses his ideas with condescension, ridicule, belittlement.
-
@rjones6801 Good things have come from him. Ideas affecting minds positively. I can support the ideas separate from the man from which they were spouted. I dont support his overall

@HalloFusilli you may have the most cynical view of life I've ever witnessed. Not to say there aren't people like that, but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. In the end, you're the only person that knows how you genuinely feel - and that goes for everybody. I think it's unfair to assume everyone is that self absorbed. And beyond that, you have to look at intent. Even if the opinion differs from your own, is the intent for the betterment of mankind? Right for different reasons?

@rjones6801 in that thoughtlessness. Sort of like the atheist who claims to care for the betterment of man through the overcoming of such thoughtlessness when in all actuality he adores that very thoughtlessness for the supremacy of his own self, his own ego. The sort of person who out of ego would despair if people as a whole were much more thoughtful thereby lessening his own self.
But again, I could be wrong.
Hey dyslexic Dutch guy, your English spelling and grammar are a good deal better than the majority of Americans I've seen write anything, so keep on keep up whatever it is you're doing. =)
