Nice review, but Saiko and Tagaki don't take it up as a hobby, they take it up as more of a carreer choice. Also if you do a review of the second volume might wanna use their names. "The artist character is quiet and direct while the artist character is more talkitive and energetic" lol. And trust me the stakes get much more exciting and tense when you see the different manga made in the later volumes.

i think this first volume is rather inspirational. as a college student, i feel like that i have to pick a normal career path and become an ordinary member of society, and this manga says to throw that out the window and do what you really want to do. especially nice to read before i have to sit thru my math class. also volume 2 is great so far

@futureanimatior two mangas that's waaaaay underrated. characters were deeply and thoroughly thought and characters were realistic and has a 3-dimensional characteristic.

@LucasYchisawa Don't know if you ever read Slam Dunk or Vagabond but read those and you'll think every other manga is shit. They will just blow you're mind away. One Piece and FMA are great manga's but there still not quite near the level of Vagabond or Slam Dunk.

I think Bakuman started off really good and it has some good parts but it's really not that great. Mainly ebcause the art should be more realistic like Death Note was, the art is too cartooning and doesen't fit the story too well. And the story itself isn't even that great really.
