  • @SoundwaveRomania Audio out from the "Video" connector and straight into my soundcard. I have noticed that a few C64:er I have with 6581 are more noisy than the 8580 models. Especially the motherboards that has the SID chip closer to the RF. It's a bit odd but yeah that's how the magic ol' SID Chip is working.

  • @demoscenes I just bent the audio-in pin up and that's doing the same thing as grounding according to some sources. What cable did you use for the recording? On RF there's a lot of noise.

  • @AozoraOrigami Check your PM :)

4-mat is an excellent musicain. He's done many incredible tunes on various platforms.

  • @demoscenes i'll try it :) do you know where i can get the tracker? or is it with the C64 emulator?? if you can inbox me the information that'd be great :D and famitracker is pretty nice since i love NES/Famicon music =3 but i also love all of 4mats music =3

  • @AozoraOrigami You can use an emulator, but keep in mind emulators can't emulate the SID chip 100%, so you'll be missing some depth in the filters, and even in some cases timing issues such as VIC/CIA criteras. But start in an emulator and see what you think :) Famitracker is kind of an okay tracker :)

  • @demoscenes do ineed a C64 for this? or can i use a emulator, cause i like the sounds from this more than famitracker, and since i'm not sure if i can get the program 4mat uses :P i saw this :P

  • @SoundwaveRomania This was recorded straight from the C-64's audio-out. The C-64 used in this recording got a very low noise-out, so I did not have to apply the "Audio Noise Reduction" modification. I did implement that mod on my other 8580 machine and did by connecting the audio-in to ground. More info can be found on this page : bigmech.com/misc/c64mods/noisereduction.html

    Cheerz.

  • @AozoraOrigami JCH Editor v1.3 with an extended player routine that Dane made himself(G25).
