do not own this video... this is to hopefully get the australian championship even more international flair especially for the youth, junior and Senior devisions.

this championship goes over three days (this years goes for 1 week due to hosting a world championship) and has lots of events ranging from sub juveniles (8-10) juveniles (10-13) juniors (13-16) youth (16-19) amuater (19-35) senior{also known as master) 35-45 senior 2(also known as master 2) 45-65 and professional

the comp consites of Latin American Ballroom; and also australia's own style New Vouge.

It is held at The Vodaphone Arena in Melbourne in December each year

If anyone is interested dont hesitate to send me a message :) the more couples and competition the better!! :

  • hmm was the japanese overtaking?

  • yeh..

  • ok. better question: was that rude or what?

  • id say so cause if you look (only a glimpse) (just as they start to follow tall chinese,) the jap hits matt/anna (aussie), basicly the japense cut the couple in green off.. so id say it was rude.

  • how does one figure that? matt/anna went into rev turns on the short wall, which's always inviting other couples to pass you. Since they were trailing afterwards, then tried to power through the natural turns to catch up to the movement of the japanese couple, they were likely the "hitters" and not the hittee.

  • apparently they were great here. sure wish that every dancesport competition had great footage like this.

  • Haha as a dancer I should comment on the dancing but I couldn't help noticing that the cameras were awesome, followed the dancing nicely so we could watch ^_^
