@Handsomeartist What's wrong with you? It's not one of the most epic anime. It's THE most epic anime of all time. Only beating TTGL because TTGL doesn't have yelling in the openings.

@superjoe324 That's true. Then again, Gundam is just as much political warfare as actual warfare, while Gurren-Lagann and GaoGaiGar are about the fighting alone (I don't remember there being any politics involved in the fights in either GGG nor TTGL, anyway).

Either way, the designs are clearly based off of Gundams, even if nobody wants to admit it. But then again, Kunio Okiwara is best known for that design-style for mecha, and it looks awesome, though it makes GGG look somewhat Real Robot-ish.
