@ShannonPutnam "Swan Song" is used to refer to an ending. Sometimes the end of a relationship, as it is here. She's talking to her ex, and telling him how she's torn up but she can't blame anyone but herself because she is the one who ended it. (i.e."I said what I said and meant it...but now I regret it.".) I've been listening to this song for months without knowing the meaning of the phrase "swan song" -to lazy to look into it-I finally did, and now listening to it, it makes perfect sense.

I might not try so damned hard as to reject an artist I like because she's meshed with common media, but that doesn't mean that I'm ignorant in any sense of the word.
