PS3 update tutorial

This is a tutorial on how to get a PS3 update through your computer.

NOTICE: You must have a storage media device in your PC. I was using a PSP memory card.

1. You MUST make a folder in the SMD (storage media device) named "PS3" (without quotes and in all caps).

2. Inside that folder make another called "UPDATE" (without quotes and all caps).

3.Go to www.us.playstation.com and go to the PS3 section and download the update to the UPDATE folder. (It may be better to download the update to your desktop then drag it into the UPDATE folder when it's done)

4.Put the SMD into the PS3 and go to the settings list.

5.Choose "Update". Then choose "Via Storage Media".

The rest should be obvious.

while i cant really say which system better they both got there ups n downs 360 dont have live,red ring of death,etc ps3 ylod,freezes alot,red screen of death,etc but to me i think i would choose ps3 just becuz free online if both system had free online im pretty sure more people get the 360

@MrTony039 Just going into the folders on the flash drive from your computer and delete the old update data, then re-download the new.
