PART FOUR: Imagine Tommy Cooper On Acid Crossed with Steve Coogans Comedy Creation of Alan Partridge and your somewhere close to decribing the part that Dr. Jonathan Royle (fomerly known as Alex Le Roy & Alex Smith) plays in this surreal (think League of gentlemen crossed with Peter Kays Phoneix Nights and a hint of the Mighty Boosh) Variety Show Sitcom.
Royle plays a caricature of himself in this story where he has gone to Amsterdam to search for his missing Sister the UK's only Femal Comedy Stage Hypnotist MESMERELDA who is played by Royle himself dressed in Drag!
In order to support himself whilst searching in Amsterdam in Holland Royle does Street Magic, Mentalism, Comdy Stage Hypnosis and even Psychic Belly Button Readings in order to earn money whilst trying to track down his sister.
Along the way Royle hypnotises Gary The Serious Businessman to help change his life and over the series Gary turns into Gary The Pissed Pervert and truly shows his life has changed for the WORST..
Gary the pissed pervert regularly shows up trying to ruin Royles Street Hypnosis and Magic Shows and bizarrely also becomes a sort of Mesmerelda Stalker who trys it on with Mesmerelda who is down on her luck and making money by selling her body as a Prostitute and street hooker who is on the game.
Each episode Royle does an intereactive trick which viewers at home can join in with and during this section (The Pink room with Ron and The Boys) Cannabis Dope Smoking Ron and his mates are seen trying to work out the tricks and being amazed as they join in at the same time as you the home viewer
Many of ths bizarre tricks go wrong in a parody of Street Magicians Such as David Blaine & Criss Angel and a humourous mickey take of hypnotist such as Paul Mckenna and Peter Powers.
There are reglar weekly sections such as "Do You Do Voodoo Cause I do - in fact we do!" where with Lucky Ju Ju and Magic Woo Woo Royle does some Bizarre Magical Miracles and other episodes contain bizarre things such as Tree Slapping...
All in all a truly surreal comedy series of which there are a total of Six Half Hour Epiosdes and also a half hour pilot which have been edited together and are ready for sale having already been showcased at MITTL and MIPCOM, Cannes Television Festival and such like by Mudlark Films of Bray Film Studios.
