Over the course of two days, two different robberies have occurred at the Collado Grocery store located at 4501 North 15th Street and the Loudon Food Market located at 1448 Loudon Street in the 35th police district. These robberies may have been committed by the same suspect. Police are seeking assistance in identifying the suspect from all three robberies for which the Police Department has surveillance video available.
On September 25, 2011, at 11:32am, an unknown male entered the Collado Grocery store located at 4501 North 15th Street armed with a handgun and pointed it at the employee demanding money. The employee opened the register and gave the suspect $500 in cash. The suspect fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.
On September 26, 2011, at 7:54pm, an unknown male entered the Loudon Food Market located at 1448 Loudon Street armed with a hand gun and pointed it at one of the employees demanding money threatening to shoot the second employee. The second employee started screaming and the suspect fled the store on foot in an unknown direction before taking any money.
