sully and i created this song collaboration a few months ago . wasn't sure exactly what to do image wise , but this song has always conjured up images of the civil war as well as the conflagration of the soldiers and the native americans at various times during the 19th and early 20th century . sully plays electric guitar , bass , drums , provides lead vocals . i play organ , tremolo guitar and lend high vocal harmonies .

  • As great to watch as well as listen. Visually very moving with a thoughtful collection of images that open eyes without making judgment. Hard to do. Matt playing and singing throughout is spot on and flawless and haunting. Connection to the pop culture images like Brando, Woodstock and R Coolidge quite brilliant. Kudos to both. /m

  • Wow. I watched it without sound on a public computer and was still blown away. Can't wait to listen to it later on my laptop. Well done you guys! The Indian faces are haunting. Some of it made me want to cry. I have some Indian blood that I've been getting in touch with lately, have been somewhat active in the local Indian community. I have met some guys that were on Alcatraz. I should forward it to the local Maidus to see what they think.

  • from the first sound in the air...sweetness
