This scene was set in two parts,the part when Bobby appears out of the shower was actually an advert.They were still unsure if Patrick Duffy was returning.

Wow o.O I never watched this show before, only saw a few bits of it as a kid when my parents watched it, but this "all a dream" thing is awful. Was the whole show a dream? or just this eps?.

emoviebuff87, I know that a lot of people stopped watching Dallas after season 8 was revealed to be Pam's dream becuase they thought that their intelligence had been insulted.

emoivebuff87, the only reason why I believed that it lasted for another 4 season is because Larry Hagman, Leonard Katzman and Patrick Duffy didn't care about the quality of the show and that they wanted to collect their big paychecks. LOL

i thought it was up to the producers of the show or the studio to keep the show on or not.
