Can Fox News Blame Anti-Mormon Bigotry on YouTube, Liberals?

This video shows right wing radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt, appearing on the May 6 edition of "The Big Story" on Fox News, skipping right over the evangelical source of anti-Mormon sentiment against presidential hopeful Mitt Romney and, instead, focusing the blame on YouTube.

@100percentrekkie Then you haven't studied enough, because there are plenty of differences between Mormonism and Christianity in what they believe and how they believe. You're only seeing what's on the surface and not looking in the major differences in the way they view the doctrine.

Speaking as an atheist who studies such things for fun... Mormonism actually contradicts very little from the Bible. I have read the book of Mormon, the Pearl of Great Price, the Doctrine of Covenants, and countless sermons from LDS leaders. I've also read the Bible through. There's absolutely nothing in them which are incompatible under the appropriate belief system.

Even though I think they're insane, I will steadfastly stand up for the Mormons on this issue.

I received a copy of said book for Christmas one year. I read it. I am still an atheist. Sorry if you find it hard to believe that revelation doesn't happen to everyone who touches the holy binding.

Wow, reading the comments! I cant believe people are still so blind. Using the bible alone to prove your religion. Like using Harry Potter to prove Hogwarts is real, Using The Lord of the Rings to prove Frodo Baggins is real. Will the madness ever end?

People get so upset if they find someone not believing in a God but once they find a believer it then has to be the correct god, or Their God. I find it Funny how so many can feel so sure. While religion has been dead wrong about everything.

@mediaboyz That's what I thought, Of course you''re not going to discuss this matter mono e mono because you're afraid of hearing the truth and other things you might hear that the leaders of the church won't ever tell you and discuss, because there's a lot of misguided teachings and beliefs in the lds church they're ashamed of. I have a wealth of TRUE information about the LDS church that comes straight from LDS doctrine and personal experience if you're willing to listen.So far ur ears plugged

I don't waste my time with people who are too closed minded and set in their ways. By your smart alec replies, you already think you know everything and have all the answers, but you don't. If you really want to learn something about your religion, I'd be glad to help. I have been through most of it for 20 years. I've witnessed enough to know ins and outs of lds.

I'm already familiar with the Tanners she passed away several years ago. I know the truth about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If I had any question about my faith I sure wouldn't be paying a FULL tithe or attending every Sunday etc.

I suppose this conversation is over as you have not replied to any of the following:

1) the one true church that we all should join

2) How the BOM contradicts the Bible

3) how much your priest makes a year :)

@mediaboyz You're just plain ignorant to think the book of mormon is true, when there's been many finds of it being plagiarized straight from the old and new testament and other books. I'm tired of trying to tell mormons how mislead they are by showing proof through the scriptures and not man made false teachings from false prophets. Its unfortunate when one tries to have rational discussions with other Christians that they completely avoid the topic or issue or change the subject. Not the first time its happened. If you want to know the truth read the entire Book of Mormon like I and my wife have and you will know for yourself and have your own testimony it is from God. The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints is God's true church restored on earth. God bless you.

@mediaboyz you'd rather be right than hear the truth about your own religion and what Christians think of it atleast those Christians who know the Mormon religion completely contradicts what the bible, God and Christ taught. Of course you won't get it, because you've been brainwashed and indoctrinated with many false teachings and misleading information. It's very sad to see so many confused and manipulated people in this world by false prophets and corrupt churches, made to believe they're true
