NATIONAL ANTHEM OF EGYPT (1923-1936) النشيد المصرى

This was the national anthem of EGYPT (MASR) from 1923 to 1936.This anthem is the first national anthem for a modern independent egypt.

The Kingdom was created in 1922 when the British granted independence to Egypt. Egyptian nationalism or 'Pharaonic nationalsim was growing fast in egypt but later suppressed by 1952 coup by a group of army officers called the Free Officers Movement and entered Egypt to the Arab world and the arab nationalsim.Today many egyptians are calling to return to the egyptian nationalism,although the formal name is arab republic of Egypt.
