ive had this idea since i was a little kid like 7 or 8 yrs old. now im 17 and still plan on putting two or four together(stacked on top of each other 2 on bottom). the idea of using them to make a 2000 sq ft home in my opinion is a waste of space especially with the growing rate of the population. my plan in a year or two when i move out is to be off the grid and self sufficient
One word: Heat. Earthen materials like brick, wood, sheet rock and siding do not hold in heat like metal would. A metal skeleton might be smart, especially in hurricane or tornado-prone areas, but the concept of mostly metal walls is crazy.
This is an amazing concept! We'll be getting our youth construction team started on this sort of project soon. Its time to go greer, help the homeless, vets, and low income families. This is our answer.
