@clintonplaza U must be joking. Howard's opinion and influence will remain dominant 50 years after he retires. Lots of ppl didnt know who Shannon Hoon was, even the 90s. School of Fish was a better band than these one-hit, wonder, MTV posers. Which is why Hoon wanted to be part of them. If Hoon hadnt been handsome, he wudnt even rate. Blind Melon may not have been the WORST band of the 90s. But in the grand scheme of the musical universe, BM will rate below even bigger losers like Coldplay.

Blind Melon is for old, fat 30-something cows who drive their kids to Jr. High every morning while their kids are embarassed of them in the backseat listening to Dio and Maiden. 90s music and every artist that came out of it sucked. Period. And Hoon and Blind Melon were part of that suckage. Get over yerselves.

Dave Matthews, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, REM, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Counting Crows, Radiohead, Snoop Dogg, TLC, Third Eyed Blind, Oasis, Eminem, Green Day, Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox 20, 2pac, Biggie, Weezer, Jay-Z, Sugar Ray, Lenny Kravitz. All of these bands/artists got their break in the 90's. There are a lot more I just got tired of typing. I'm sure your list just dominates this one.
