These are photos of the historic First Baptist Church, located at 108 Seventh Avenue South and Broadway in downtown Nashville, TN. The Sanctuary was designed by renowned architect Edwin A. Keeble and Associates. The theme of the beautiful stained glass windows was inspired by the late Dr. H. Franklin Paschall (1922-2009) and designed by Goode Paschall Davis. The theme of the windows is Divine Revelation. Dr. H. Franklin Paschall was a great asset in the design of the Sanctuary. The magnificent organ heard in this clip is a 1970 59-Rank Schantz Pipe Organ with 3,236 pipes. The pipes vary in length from 3/8 inch to 32 feet. First Baptist Church, Nashville is getting ready in 2010 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of our beautiful Sanctuary and majestic pipe organ.
