Tongues of Fire Pyrography

Pyrography is the ancient art of drawing with fire. Fire is elemental, and it's manipulation can be used to render almost timeless works of the imgaination. Here are a few pyrographies I've done...and I still consider myself a beginner. Enjoy and leave a comment.

Nice work there! I was searching for larger scale pyrography tips for my Chainsaw carving projects, and this kind of pyrography is a bit to detailled for the use on large statues, but nevertheless, I like this. Perhaps another hobby when I'm out of wooden logs. :P

actually..the tips on wire burners can get red or white hot.. enough to burn a good design even on a log. If you check out the woodburner website, there are a couple of pieces shown in the gallery there using pyrography on chainsawed pieces. Just an idea. Thanks for stopping by bro!
