50 Years of the Japan-US Security Treaty Part 1: Concealed US Forces

This four-part series examines the Japan-US alliance during the 50 years since the current Japan-US Security Treaty was concluded, and considers how Japan will deal with it from now on. The first part focuses on the development of Japanese attitudes to the alliance.

■ BROADCASTERS' EYE Laugh It Away and Say Goodbye

  • Is radioactive fish more expensive than regular in Japan?

I just see the new ship that should contain radioactive water, is the idea to first dump the contaminated water to the sea and than pump it in the container?

one more stupid question, are you a retarded nation?

sure you seam to be a nation of fishes (Radioactive ones)

    Stop killing the sea!

  • I bet NHK was nodding their heads when the American media was tearing Japan a new one for not extending the zone of safety to 50km and screaming cover up, unlike the US Japan actually takes care of their own and when American media saw they knew what they were doing and did everything right they snubbed Japan and now we don't hear anything about the disaster,

  • Could you ask your journalists to stop making speeches about a nuclear reactor that may melt or not?

I know that it may seem less spectacular than showing the distress of million of people but seriously who cares?

  • difficult to understand what the girl says, because loud music
