Mr. Jim Modert, superintendent of Bronson Community Schools, give a tour of Chicago Street School. He explains the concerns for the old building and the problems that are found in the old structure. The current general fund can no longer meet the needs for major maintenance repairs, thus leading to a plan to build a new K-6 Elementary eliminating three old inefficient buildings. Upon the approval of a bond issue on November 2nd, this would allow significant cost savings to the general fund and stop the reduction of services to the students of the Bronson community. Bronson Community School serves 149 square miles of rural community which composes of the west side of Branch County, Michigan.
