Does not work on x64 edition of Office 2013. Maybe it does work on x86, but not on the 64 bit version. Pretty please update it ;)

My understanding is (I am a Box partner, not Box direct) is that this is a limitation of the applications (eg ms office) not the platform itself. The best solution for what you're looking for is Google Apps but even that has limitations.

is there a feature to "collaborate" like we saw in sharepoint, you know, so long as we both don't edit the same cell in Excel, that kind of thing, so I can work on one slide, while he/she works on another?

Not in realtime, Cal, no. You can instantly see revisions once they are saved but you will need to use a WebApp to see revisions in "real-time" as they are made.

Just downloaded the app...works much easier than the network mapped location I was using before. Much snappier, and, although I would prefer a just-as-fast desktop app to assist in organizing my box, this will resolve the issue I had with the length of time it took to save files to box (I write all of the time).
Not really concerned with collaboration, since I have other ways to do that. However, on a personal usage level--using Office: Magnificent!
