Works well for me too. I have a Samsung Galaxy Xcover and I use the Spiderpodium as a bike mount and a versatile desk stand. It won't come off if u secure it properly.
I mount it like he did though bit more securely around the phones corners and I find that to be the best method for table etc. use too since you can use the remaining 4 "legs" to mount it or hold it every witch way you want. Great pruduct!

I rode down two big flights of steps with my htc desire attached with this, had no problems. nb I twisted the arms together when I wrapped around handle bar stem. Held perfectly. You'd be surprised :)

@ydude403 Take a look at BioLogic's bike mount, too. I just got one (on ebay for $61 including shipping) and have been really happy with it. However you decide to go, have an awesome trip!
