@rodstartube a capacitor is in capable of causing a explosion well atleast one to cause damage... now if you touch the leads on a capacitor over 200v your probly going to end up killing yourself

wow you get quite a few snaps out of the cap off one charge! I just finished winding the transformer for my capacitor charger - pain in the bum. Gonna use it to charge up 10 x 2400uf 450V caps in parallel :)
