I think this illustrates the point perfectly. A woman might get drunk, she might flirt, she might kiss, but NONE of that means she'll automatically consent to sex. THE INSTANT she says no, it becomes rape. It's NEVER the fault of the victim.

I believe rape is very wrong but what is even worse is when a woman agrees to have sex and then turns around and says she didn't consent that is truely fucked up. And the man can't do anything because by law if a person acuses someone of rape with little to no evidence the "rapist" is sent to jail

@ldiggy132 Yes, that would be horrible. However, the conviction rate for rape is extremely low. The evidence has to be good enough to demonstrate that, beyond reasonable doubt, the rapist is guilty. No-one can be sent to jail on "little to no evidence".

no one should EVER be raped and there is never a reason you SHOULD be. but at the same time, if you flirt, wear revealing clothing, etc you should be extra cautious because unfortunately the world isn't perfect. no, i dont believe you're to blame or anything like that. but you should still be careful. unfortunately the world isn't how it should be.

@ObscurityUnrated I agree absolutely. It's a shame the world has to be that way. I think a lot of people confuse the two scenarios, though - they think that because the woman "should have known better" than to go out wearing a short skirt or have one drink too many, that it's partially (or even entirely) her fault.

I was a martial arts instructor for 10 years (in the Army as well). Ladies, knee that groin...repeatedly. Gouge his eyes with your thumbs. No mercy. Then, run and yell. Make a scene.

If you can't find the will to be that brutal to him, then he might succeed, which could mean aids for you.

@youngsavange You shouldn't have to "put up a fight." If you say no, then you say no, and the person should stop. I think it's pretty gross that you would even think something like that, let alone say it.

@youngsavange This post isn't serious, is it?? The girl was clearly raped. She yelled, pushed at his hands...it shouldn't take even that much. And how in the world do you decide he doesn't speak English? They're shown talking and laughing together. Even if he didn't speak the same language, her body language and reaction should have been plenty clear.

I don't agree with rape... but she asked for it in my opinion... she didn't even put up a fight... all she did was say "get off me"... and he looked kinda foreign whose to say he even knew English
