I'm working on an old 1927 REO truck that has been left open to the weather for many years and as a result is in a fairly poor state. However it is not past the point where it cannot be restored, so join me on a journey to see if I can get it back on the road.
I'm told that it was not unusual for trucks of this era to have an Air Compressor so that tyres could be repaired and blown up. I guess service stations and roadside assistance were not as available and DIY was the order of the day. The compressor is lever controlled and engages onto an internal cog inside the gearbox.
