Should these be dug up and stored over winter in zone 6a? Also, if the answer is yes, how should they be stored?

I have never grown Crocosmia from seed...always was lucky enough to get divisions. I did do a quick check and see that seed is available for sale. I am not sure if the seed needs to overwinter or go through some other process before being ready to germinate. Good luck!

I'm a big fan of crocosmia. I've noticed it can be somewhat aggresive, so that's something to be aware of when planting it, but it's a great plant for mid-summer blooming.
