yea that comment is kinna out the window...there are very few athletes who can run an awsome 8 and 5.. Probably one of the only few is lagat who can prolly run a gutsy 1:44 as well as his american record at 5

Aouita was very good at 5000m.800 M was NOT his distance.J.CRUZ,PAUL ERENG,SEBASTIAN COL,were best than S.AOUITA.He should run only 5000m

they put a rabbit in there for a 1:44? Probably just for publicity. Johnny Gray + Said Aouita + rabbit = people buy tickets.

I saw Said Aouita indoors, the promo said he was gonna try to break the indoor 5000 record. An American called Doug Padilla was his rabbit. Padilla couldn't hold the pace, and Aouita ran alone the whole way to 13:21. They never intended any record. But I still saw Aouita run. He was pretty fast.
