I remember going to this thearer with my dad when I was a kid. seeing some good 3D movies. It would be great to reopen it depending on what shape its in. or it could be made into a nightclub

I lived there a short time as a child.. I distinctly remember this theater - people we knew had teenaged kids in the late 80s and i remember going there a few times to pick them up or drop them off. I always liked the big round entrance and the simple but huge letters lit up C-I-N-E-M-A N-O-R-T-H... The whole plaza has a 1950s-1960s look to it with the overhang over k-mart to the automotive shot with the sloping roof and tall front. It would be a grate place to film a 60s movie

also this cinema was equipped with Sensurround sound! in 1976 my grandfather who was a ww2 pacific vet. took me to see the movie miday. i was shocked at the feeling i got when those planes taking off from the carriers...WOW I WAS SO MOVED !! just a everlasting imprint from childhood that i will never ever forget!!! buy the movie MIDWAY and play it through a great surround sound system and you will see.
