My Performance Mufflers

My performance mufflers on my 2001 Grand Am GT during a chilly Montana morning.

Am I the only one who gets a kick out of seeing the exhaust shoot out?

If that's what farting sounds like in your house then I fear for all of our lives. The stock muffler is way too restrictive thus why it is gone.

if anything, flowmasters make the 3400 sound like a ricer, but actual "fart cans" make it sound v8ish. :O weird.

@wilsob26 It is kind of strange, that. But hey I don't question. The sound will be changing soonish though because I am going to be getting a high flow cat and probably cutting off the resonator. Eventually I am going to get new headers as well.

@chaseman94 It is really up to you. Different mufflers have different sound/tone and will perform differently. I personally didn't go with a cross flow style muffler so it would have one less area to go through before exiting the car since it would have to be mounted transversely behind the rear axel

I was wondering if someone put that type of exhaust on a Grand Am because i'm trying to decide if I should go with the one like what you have or should i just go with something like a Flowmaster 80 on mine.
