Syd Dale's ''The Hellraisers'' was also used as the main theme tune for a British television drama series for children called ''Orlando'' which ran from 1965 to 1968 and starred veteran character actor Sam Kydd.

QUICK: look up & watch this youtube clip: Another Day, Another Man (1966) trailer which uses this 'song'. I didnt read all the comments but perhaps people dont know about its use in this AMAZINGLY sleazy coming attraction for this 60s sexploitation film (which I'm sure would be pg13 at best now). Just be prepared to take a shower & go to confession immediately after ;^)

@nutthead74 Check the Oilers-Raiders 1967 AFL Title Game film - this track opens Part I.

As the Chiefs founder on the rocky Green Bay defense, they try to salvage what they can with a field goal attempt...but even this fails, and the missed third down has cost them possession of the ball.

@ctyankfan7 Indeed.

@STP43FAN1 Everyone has different tastes, but I find the tracks not included on Autumn Thunder in the Pats season review are somewhat indistinguishable and really don't have that "IT" factor. Tracks that I feel should have been included are several by Weber/Hermann/Luisi that got consistent play in the mid-late seventies. Also missing are several others that can be heard on TWIPF Youtube clips of the '70's, perhaps most by Spence. A few KPM pieces could have been sprinkled on Disc 1 also.

"Have fun, boys. I'll tell the Kingpin you're "tied up"! Spider Man

Kingpin; I don't believe it. What is it?
Jameson; Then there IS a Spider Man, and I thought the police were pulling my leg. Wow, what a story!

Someone can tell me I'm wrong but I think a number of these Syd Dale/KPM numbers were on the the short-lived AFL Highlights that NFL Films did under the name of Tel-Ra productions in the final pre-merger years. Much appreciated!

@STP43FAN1 They should be sued. I love most of those songs that are not in the collection. I wish I could get my hands on them
I first remember falling in love with this piece of music when I saw "The Kingpin" as a kid. Then, back in the late 80's I heard it again, used as the music for a strip tease of Bettie Page (knowing full well that it wasn't the actual music, because the strip tease was from the 50's). I just love this music!!

I first heard the piece in a commercial for "Wide World of Sports" back when I was a kid. I loved it then and was amazed to hear it in Spiderman "Kingpinned." (actually, it was the KPM music that made Spiderman better than it actually was.)
Glad you like it.

Thanks. I waited a long time thinking I'd never find this piece of music; I didn't even know what it was called. So now that I've finally got some of it, I want to make sure everyone who likes this stuff gets a chance to hear it. I'll be posting more very soon. (other composers, too) :D

You're very welcome. I have a selection of Syd Dale music and now that I know there is some interest, I'll get to work posting it asap. :D
