June 12th 2003 Minor Tornado Outbreak

A Wall Cloud with Brief Tornado was filmed near Downtown Pittsburgh with F0 Damage on Mt, Washington. This wall cloud produced about 3 Brief Touchdowns.

A larger wedge tornado devoloped in the Tarentum Area on same day and produced little damage. I am a witness to this large tornado.

  • @JohnnyBibs pittsburgh is not safe from twisters

  • too bad it didn't take out the Hill district... Or Mt. oliver...

  • @darlingdino nah no damage, didnt even touch down

  • I lived in Mt. Washington when we had the F1 but that was June 2, 1998. Did it happen again in 2003? I never heard of this one.

  • too bad it didn't wipe out UPMC

  • I REMEMBER THIS IT WAS WHOA

  • did it go near west virginia?

  • Note the clear slot just behind wall cloud.

  • This is a wall cloud with a weak funnel extending to the ground.

  • you must have recorded this by schenly park. I actually saw this funnel.. it was litterly 2 blocks away from me... i didin't think it was a tornado into i saw the tornado warning. This funnel hit Mt.Washington just like the 1998 tornado but it cause minimal damage.
