Well yes, I was merely advising him that those events will not approach this scale. He was hoping for events like this, and none of them really are, especially since these days (at least in melbourne) we're splitting space with the supernatural romance fans. I saw more Twilight Vampires at my last con than I did cosplayers.

@GiganticTumor Why would they be? Only an IDIOT would think they even COULD be... Australia has a lower population (therefore statistically fewer people who would attend cons), and a lower population density (we're more spread out, making getting to a big con more difficult for many people).
