the U.S. is the last first world western country OTHER than Belarus to maintain the death penalty. Let's get with the program. A modern ethical viewpoint supports the abolition of capital punishment. America does not support the harsh modes of control employed by leading asian countries, or middle eastern countries, and yet shares their support for capital punishment. This is pure hypocracy, and proves the bloodlust of modern america.
