Lake Effect Snow in Upstate NY

Over Two feet of snow fell overnight between 1am and 8:30am. We were only suppose to get a few inches but the band off of Lake Ontario came more south and beginning tonight ,(1/20/08), we are suppose to get another foot or more.
Filmed some wintery scenes from this morning at my home.
The underlying music is "Sit Nomen Domini" a song from the Taize Repertoire. I sang all 3 parts,recording 2 tracks per vocal part using Garageband on my Macbook. The song basically means Blessed be the name of the Lord.Now and Forever. Believe me ;when I say; those were not my words when I woke up this morning and saw the amount of snow that fell! #@$%#.......*&%#@......!

In a way, I kinda miss the snow in upstate New York. I remember as a kid, we used to have at least 1 to 2 feet on the ground most of the season! With the exception of brief thaws that would occur.
