Well first of all it hasn't even run any experiments yet, that will happen over the next few years so that answers your first question. And to search for God presupposes a belief that one might exist which is not part of the theoretical model surrounding this experiment. What ATLAS is looking for is evidence for dark matter and missing energy, extra dimensions and a new look at the standard model. Stop the paranoia please and do some research. Thanks.

The extra dimensions are an inevitable outcome

of string theory. And LHC is going to reveal whether it is just hypothesis or not. And it will be proven by seeing part of an energy disappearing from our three dimensional world due to extra dimensions.

Yeah man, i bet you already got a lot of comments on this but this project is the first of its kind. the things they find will change the future of science. We might even begin to discover time travel because you can link einsteins theory of relativity to this project. now, i dont know how, because im not a quantim physisist, But i do know that the particle movment which they are studying will help. ah whatever i dont really like to sound like an arrogent smart ass, but you did a pretty good job

Those guys invented the Internet, mobile phones, TV, atomic energy, basically everything. Trust them and they'll invent the next big things that we actually desperately need as a society to solve all our problems. I think we should give scientists much more money and they will solve our problems faster.

actually, if they can control the process and create antimatter efficiently, it is going to help the economy since its a new, and far more powerfull, energy resource, and its also going to help the earth for eons to come, less pollution. Make sure you ask the correct questions next time.
