Hey! That's a sick blazer! Ive got an 89 w/ the 4.3 I'm getting ready to use that same sky kit for! Just waiting for brakes and steering to get here. How did you chop the top so nicely? Is it possible to have it as a top that clicks back on??
@nowzymen that was not the sky fit, it was the prototype kit from 3 leaf fab. it was a lot more involved than the sky kit, including that it was bolt on. anyways, i dont think the top could be made to be convertable without a lot of work. i cut along the window line. it looked nice from far away, but the edges were never finished
Hey man I got an 88 S10 Blazer and im thinkin about cuttin it down like yours, It looks so BA. So what engine do you have in it? Im pretty sure its not the original 4.3 :D.
Nice truck. What axels did you use? with what gearing? Also what did you do for a transfer case? to have such a low range.? thanks I would like to build the same type of thing but i am having a hard time finding a drivers side drop axel for cheep.
@TY11G i used a 14FF in the rear, and a HP44 from a 76 F150 in the front. i converted it over to 8 lug chevy hubs to match the rear. the gears were 4.56 and the truck had a 231/241 doubler in it.
