I weighed 170lbs tonight, 135lbs added on for 5 reps. 20lbs increase in a weeks time, domination.

  • Yes, you can build muscle with weighted pushups. If you're struggling by the 7th or 8th rep and can barely get 10 reps in, thats Hypertrophy training. If you can get off 40 pushups, its time to add more weight.

  • do weighted push ups add muscle or just strength bro? I was interested in doing them with a heavy weight vest, but wasnt sure if they are good for building muscle? Thanks

  • Good pushup. However you might wanna put the weights more higher on the shoulder area. It looks like your lower back was trying to hold up all the weights.
