The Vocal Range of Jon Schaffer: B1-C5

The founder, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist for Iced Earth, Schaffer has spent most of his career as a back-up vocalist, mainly live, though he has had moments to show his very unrefined, baritone vocals. In recent years however, he has shown some impressive singing ability that hopefully will branch out further in the future.

In 2008 he started a solo project, the politically, uh...charged Sons of Liberty, for which he supplies all vocals. Turns out he has an interesting Warrel Dane-Chris Jericho sound in his upper register.
Not real serious range here, meant as a companion to the Range of Matt Barlow video.

2:28 - To the "highs" - Easy F♯4s in "Tree of Liberty." Lyrics here make even me want to facepalm.
3:17 - More nice F♯4s from the chorus of "The Cleansing Wind"
3:52 - Quick G4 from "Indentured Servitude"
4:01 - Singing great G♯4s from "A Gift or a Curse?", with Barlow doing the low harmony.
4:54 - Lots of clean G4 and A4s from "We the People"
5:46 - Powerful A4s from the chorus of "Jeckyll Island"
6:08 - Random A4 in the melody from "Tree of Liberty" live
6:15 - A very surprising, strong C5 from "Our Dying Republic"

Hopefully more vocal demonstrations in the future.
