Before going the solo route, Walter was part of some seminal New York bands over the last 20 years including Gorilla Biscuits, Youth of Today, Quicksand, Rival Schools, and Walking Concert.

He is currently working on a full length that is going to be split released by Big Scary Monsters (UK), Academy Fight Song (US) and Arctic Rodeo (Europe). This is the title track off the upcoming record.

Thanks to BSM and RJ from AFS for setting this up.

An open letter to the scene and not everybody liked him all the time but at the sunday matinee he filled the sky To dear departed and to the broken hearted family At the hardcore funeral i cried and i cried for the passing of a hero on the lower eastside not everybody liked him all the time but at the sunday matinee he filled the sky Dont forget the struggle, dont forget the streets DONT SELL OUT! An open letter to the scene
  • A good man has gone

    into the great beyond

    straight edge or skinhead

often both at the same time

He had a good influence on many people´s lives

  • What tuning is this song?

  • @gamlerik1 thank u soooo much! i really appreciated it tnks :)

  • @jamshed13 thank u so much! it makes sense now :P

  • I don't have the lyrics in front of me, but at a glance: grave beyond=great beyond. "don't say aloud"=don't sell out. he feels the sky=he filled the sky. the lower east side is the neighborhood in new york that was the birthplace of nyhc, and home of Raybeez/Warzone, CBGB's, Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, etc.. Listen to those records, and this song should make more sense. RIP Raybeez
