yes but alcohol and tabacco are positive things right? the question is not wether ist positive or negative but why is it against the law when so many people are smoking it (more than u know ) and so much money is spent to enforce it and all this is based on wrong facts !! pretty shamefull
alcohol and tobacco are NOT positive things, i do know that legalizing would boost our economy(probably even by alot) but immaturity is not the way to handle a country. I don't believe that alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, etc. is right legal or illegal anywhere. You don't fix a country by giving it drugs, that is entirely immature and immoral. Just as there are those whose lives are ruined by drugs, so will the country if they ease up even just a little. That is my belief.
excuse me but if u wish not to smoke than dont america is still a free country and the reasons weed is illegal are preposterous if we go your way why not abolish salt alcohol tobacco and u know what lets add up religion since its opium for the masses . last time i checked america is a free country weed isnt dangerous and has some unknown benefits(not trying to convince its good) but keeping it illegal is the same absurd action as letting people drink alcohol from a paper bag -- hypocrit
just sad !!! i wonder when will be the times where people shall look back to the past and see this video and asking them self how were they so foolish? this is an absurd situation lol oh well too bad for us!
Prohibition is stupid, immoral, grotesquely expensive, and doesn't at all accomplish what its proponents want. The savings in law enforcement costs, in dollars and in the terrible misdirection of attention of LE away from protecting citizens in favor of targeting drug crimes - with police motive to seize and keep property. Legalizing it for tax revenue will only feed the money-addicted government that banned it in the first place, and IMO wouldn't be much better than our current situation.
Five stars to the video for showing was a condescending prick Obama is.
The amount of money put into law enforcement alone would save billions not to mention the revenue from sin taxes.
I am not a pot smoker but I can see the benefit in ending this ridiculous prohibition. The current murderous Mexican cartels were built on illegal pot money just like the organized crime syndicates of the 1920's in the US were built from alcohol.
if you all thought obama would ahve legalized it your all retards, is it legal in soviet russia, i dont think so. Obama just wants to use failed policies until it works.. even though it wont. will it improve the economy??! hmm thousands of people WORKING instead of using tax payers money in jail... new farms... new factories... and a hell of a lot of people buying it.. not to menntion less mexican drug folks...

What a dumb ass, to dismiss it so flippantly.
