the question is not wether ist positive or negative but why is it against the law when so many people are smoking it (more than u know ) and so much money is spent to enforce it

alcohol and tobacco are NOT positive things, i do know that legalizing would boost our economy(probably even by alot) but immaturity is not the way to handle a country. I don't believe that alcohol,tobacco,marijuana, etc. is right legal or illegal anywhere. You don't fix a country by giving it drugs, that is entirely immature and immoral. Just as there are those whose lives are ruined by drugs, so will the country if they ease up even just a little. That is my belief.

Prohibition is stupid, immoral, grotesquely expensive,and doesn't at all accomplish what its proponents want. The savings in law enforcement costs, in dollars and in the terrible misdirection of attention of LE away from protecting citizens in favor of targeting drug crimes - with police motive to seize and keep property.
Legalizing it for tax revenue will only feed the money-addicted government that banned it in the first place, and IMO wouldn't be much better than our current situation.
