TBH I think not throwing thousands of Americans in jail for non violent "crimes" is a bigger concern than the economic benefits but I'm sure those benefits would be gargantuan. MJ is the biggest cash crop in the US man! It would be a BIG market if it was legalized. It already is in fact... it's just all black market and the limited MMJ growers that still get harassed by the feds.

Why the fuck is everyone laughing? If someone asked about the situation in Iraq I bet they wouldnt laugh. You know Trey Parker and Matt Stone got it right. @fudman02 land is not something thats in short supply, they dont have to take food crop land to grow mj. it would create jobs and revenue for the government. then you have to consider the government money spent on mj, prisons, courts, and police man hours. legalizing mj is a massive win for everyone except the people who profit from the prison system.
