  • incredible riding!

  • @KARLIhorse thank you very much!

  • You explain: "his concentration was all over the place but had fun so whatever".

You are right - but you never really asked him to concentrate.

    But who had fun?

Watching the video, I think both of you did - you actually enjoyed riding him again, and he was quite happy being ridden by you, Jen.

Especially when cantering you must have enjoyed his powerful moves - and he liked your soft hands and long reins.

    Well done, Jen.

  • @heinzstoffregen most of the horses we have are actually rafael sized, mister is from a driving team on the same property and they are the big horses, so i dont get to ride them as much. it had been so long since id ridden him i felt like i was on a mountain after all the little spanish horses! thank you again for the lovely comments, i love hearing what you have to say!

  • 1. This is the size of horse you should ride, Jen, or even bigger ones. Your long legs (0:04, 0:09) need a horse like Mister.

    2. Riding without stirrups of course makes you bounce more easily, especially when asking the trot to extend. But there is no sign of you losing contact - may be you felt like it, but one cannot observe it (Very good seat 0:26 - 0:33). No danger to be bounced off!

    3. 0:48 transition and following canter are very smooth and elegant.

    Very good riding, Jen!
